Terms and Conditions of Sale
All payments are made in Canadian dollars. Your bank may charge fees for orders placed in the United States.
Delivery Policy
La Belle Excuse delivers all its products in Canada and the United States via Canada Post. Once payment confirmation has been received, orders are processed within a maximum of 48 hours, Monday to Friday.
Depending on destination and product availability, delivery times may vary from 1 to 13 business days.
Please note that processing time may be longer than expected during sales or promotions.
Orders cannot be shipped to P.O. Boxes.
La Belle Excuse shall not be liable for delivery errors due to incorrect addresses. Customers are responsible for checking the delivery information before finalizing the order. Please ensure that the delivery address entered at the time of purchase is complete and error-free.
Should you prefer picking up your order in person at the boutique, simply mention it in the notes. When your order is ready, you’ll receive a confirmation e-mail inviting you to visit the boutique.
Delivery Charges
For Quebec and Ontario, delivery is free on orders of $90.00 or more, before taxes and after the promo code is applied, if any. A $12 delivery charge applies to orders under $90.00.
A surcharge may apply for certain remote areas. A member of our team will contact you before sending the order if so needed.
For other Canadian provinces, delivery is free on orders of $125.00 or more, before taxes and after the promo code is applied, if any. A $15 delivery charge applies to orders under $125.00.

For the United States, a $20 delivery charge applies to all orders.

There are no customs dues for orders under $800.00 (excluding shipping). Should customs dues apply, La Belle Excuse shall not be liable for any customs dues payable upon receipt of your order.
Tracking a Package
Once your order has been shipped, you may track it using Canada Post’s online tracking tool.
For deliveries to the United States, once your order has been shipped, you may track it using Canada Post’s online tracking tool. As soon as it crosses the U.S. border, you may track it using the USPS online tracking tool.
Return Policy
Given the nature of our products, online orders are neither exchangeable nor refundable, unless they are damaged during delivery or due to an error on our part. In this case, please contact us by e-mail at [email protected] and include a photo.
